AGUA DE MAR is a summer series in which Verónica Pasman explored the energy of water in four different locations, all representing a special time and a particular experience. The series was explored through painting, collage, and photography that evolved away from the initial water inspired blues and greens into paintings of various color palettes. This is Pasman’s first exhibition with us, and the paintings with their various interpretations of the original locations have adapted to the height and layout of our Back Room Gallery. As a traveling exhibition, AGUA DE MAR is currently on view at Arts Warehouse, but this body of work will continue to other spaces where it will garner a new viewing experience with every space it is installed into.
